We are here to help - you can get support online, by telephone, email and videocall, and in person at our head office.
We are currently open seven days a week to support members through the pandemic. If you need any support, please get in touch in the usual way.

Our office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We also offer out of hours services for members with active cases:
- If you have a General Optical Council (GOC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) active case, a senior member of the FODO team will also be on hand to support you out of office hours. Always by your side, when you need it most.
You can also arrange videoconference calls or visit us to discuss your defence case.

Make a complaint
If you have a complaint about your experience with FODO or any aspect of our service, please email it to [email protected]. Your complaint will be forwarded to a member of the Executive team for consideration. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours of receiving your email and aim to reply to it within 14 working days. If we need longer to address your complaint, we will let you know.
