GOC publishes new CPD guides

The GOC has published two new guides about its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) audit scheme: CPD record review: A guide for registrants and Guide to audit of providers of CPD.  


SPOKE releases case studies on best practice approaches

The Sector Partnership for Optical Knowledge and Education (SPOKE), a cross-sector collaboration funded by the GOC, has published two case studies which describe best practice approaches to teaching and learning for student optometrists and dispensing opticians.


NHS and care homes in England to pause routine Covid testing

Regular asymptomatic testing for Covid-19 will be paused from 31 August, including all healthcare settings and care homes, says the Department of Health and Social Care in England. Read more.
