GOS fees Scotland – increase announced

The Scottish Government has confirmed that fees for GOS and the Community Glaucoma Service will increase by 6%. It follows a 4.5% uplift agreed in 2022.

CPD and pre-registration grants will also increase by 6%.

In addition, the Memorandum includes reminders about GOS primary eye examination frequencies and patient recalls, updates on using a code 3.0 on claims, guidance on wearing face masks, tackling bullying, harassment and abuse from the public, winter flu and Covid vaccinations for frontline health and social care workers and other information.
